Sunday, CHC's 17th Anniversary!
HAPPY 17th ANNIVERSARY TO CITY HARVEST CHURCH!!
also, its Pastor Kong's 20th year serving in full time ministry..
HAPPY 20th ANNIVERSARY PASTOR! =D
was supposed to wake up at 6am on sunday morning to give aaron, chews and sk morning call.. but i overslept.. ugh. woke up an hour late! so sorry guys~ ha. by right, we planned to meet at arnd 7.45 - 8am at kallang MRT station.. there was chews, puii, aaron, khye, tianwan, kenneth and i.. from there, we'd go down to indoor stadium and queue for seats.. lolx. since most of us were late.. we only managed to meet at 8.30am.. hur. anyhoos, daddy offered to drive me down.. yay~ hmm.. and since its quite inconvinient for us to get to indoor stadium from kallng mrt, daddy gave project o peeps a lift.. muahas. khye was so happy la.. he even suan-ed those people who had to squeeze and travel by bus.. tsk. he can be such a princess sumtimes.. lolx. =X so daddy dropped us off at the east enterance.. we queued for abt an hour or so..
ha! look at jeremy.. so patriotic!
when the doors opened.. we all rushed in.. running all over the place to find seats.. but cldnt find any!! but thank God that theresa managed to book 1 whole row for us.. yay =D and its got a good view of the stage too! right smack in the middle! woohoo! while waiting for service to start.. we took photos!! ha. its like a routine man.. u'll never see pui n i w/o our cameras.. =X

hmm.. at 11am sharp.. service started! awesome! praise n worship was led by CCC!! coolness~ i love nicky n joe!! -funkadelic- hee. then, there was a dance item by dance ministry and also, kids frm o school.. DOPE!! the lil boy could breakdance sooo well!! i was like... *STUNNED* he's so young only can.. like in lower primary?? ha. cuteness la!!! ^^*
o! and Sun called back from LA.. she sounds so cute on the phone can~ hehe. Pastor Kong and her are sooo sweet! hee. i simply enjoyed every moment in service that day.. there was a videoclip on how CHC started.. so small.. and slowly.. grew to become where we are today.. and you could see how so many people moved from glory to glory.. (both spiritually and appearance wise) ha! its awesome man! to see pastor kong, pastor aries, pastor tan, etc back then and now.. how they're transformed! coolness! haha. and there was a huge cake for our church's birthday. soo pretty! heh. =)
after cutting of cake.. pastor derrick surprised pastor kong with a video tribute specially made for him cuz its also after all, his 20th anniversary serving in ministry.. woohoo~ so sweet! we could all see that pastor kong was so touched.. =) indeed, pastor kong's a great leader! even though the church is so big.. he still loves n cares for each and every1 of us.. although he doesnt attend to each one of us personally due to his busy schedule and the very large population.. but he makes sure that every1 feels loved and accepted through our cellgroups, leaders and Zone supervisors! Pastor's always so humble.. determined.. strong.. and to see his love for God.. makes u wanna love God even more too.. i love pastor kong!! ^-^
yep! received a birthday card from church! ^^* its sweet how they make every church member matter despite the very large population.. *blessed*
o yea.. for this year's 17th anniversary.. every church attendee was given a free Emerge praise & worship DVD! jeah~ also, inside every bulletin.. theres this 'scratch n win' card.. there're 17 different categories of prizes to be won.. and for each category.. there were like 10 winners if im not wrong..
and guess wad.. for our entire row.. there are 10seats.. so, we sat in a manner that started with 5 girls.. then followed by 5 guys.. mmm.. upon receiving our bulletin.. all of us started scratching.. all 5 girls got nothing.. then suddenly, aaron announced that he gt TCC voucher.. and one by one.. the other 4 guys said they got TCC vouchers too!! and all the girls were like.. -.- haha!
arent they blessed?? ha. but yeah.. its ok that we din win any vouchers cuz they'll be sharing with us!! muahas. ;))
o yea.. Don Moen was there to sing a few songs too!! haha. theresa and i were so excited can.. cuz we got to see our very cute guitarist!! hee.
isnt he cute?! muahas. well, all thanx to theresa that i got his pic.. lolx. she told me that shing found his profile on myspace! woohoo~ thank God for technology!! ha! theresa also said that he's Don Moen's son!! how cool is that?!! btw, his name is michael.. hee. and... HE's SINGLE!! muahahahahas. ok.. all thanx to shing for the investigation.. ha. and thanx to theresa for sharing it with me!! yayness~ ^^*

mmm.. after a fantastic 3hour long service.. a few of us went over to suntec for lunch.. had pastamania!

after lunch.. we all went our seperate ways.. ha. but ger came to cityhall to meet me b4 going to work..

yay! had fun hanging out with her~~ hee. she's da best.. love her lots! we talked alot.. shared stuff about our lives.. it was great!

anyways, had my french speaking test today! ugh. horrible.. we had to randomly pick different topics for our test.. there was 'cafe', 'directions', 'conversation' and 'hotel'.. so i kept praying that i would get 'cafe'.. when it was my turn to do topic selection.. ahh! i chose 'directions'! the topic that i least concentrated on.. i was like.. 'God.. y??!' o man.. i soooo wanted to do 'cafe'!! would have nailed it man.. aiii~ so when it was my turn.. i messed up real bad.. couldnt talk much.. almost broke out in tears la.. the feeling's horrible.. to tink that i totally screwed up when i know i could actually do it!! =(
but thank God once again!! my tutor was so nice to gimme another chance.. she asked me if i wanted to go and study alil more then go back later for a re-test.. whoa~ when i heard that i almost fainted! i really tot that it was the end for my french speaking test! God is good!! *screams* He's forever faithful! He'll always provide a way when there seems to be no way! wah!! no words can describe how grateful and thankful i am to God.. its like.. He's helped me through 2 days in a row!! when the situation seriously seemed to be hopeless.. He saw me through them all! monday, like i mentioned in prev. entry.. almost got debarred from OPSY exam if i was another 3 seconds late.. phew~ and now, tuedays.. messed up for my french speaking test.. no1 else got a 2nd chance but me! my french tutor told me that she knows i can do much better.. so she's giving me another chance to redeem myself.. whoa! Praise the Lord!! Thank God for favour of men!! ha. so i went back to my seat n studied real hard.. when i felt ready to do the re-test.. i went back to my tutor.. and i managed to do better than b4 lah.. =) yay!! *xing fu de gan jue*
alrighty.. gonna rest for an hour.. and off to cityhall to meet POS peeps! finally get to meet them la.. ^^* and maybe at night.. gonna meet my ex-cg members at holland v!! miss them sooooo much!! yay~ i'm over the moon right now!! okok.. off i go.. Au Revoir!
