Sunday, Project O Auditions
went to SMU with pui, ger, kenneth n jacky to practice our dance solo b4 the auditions.. then, we arrived at O school by 2pm.. every1 of us were like gan jiong spiders.. all 15 dancers squeezed into one studio and kept going through our routines over and over again.. not long after, we were called out one by one to the main studio.. that was it! the moment of truth.. the girls had the 'priviledge' to go first.. chewie started the ball rolling.. then it was theresa, xiao xian, pui, me, lynette and lastly it was ah ger.. as each person enters the main studio.. we'll be faced with 3 judges.. bro. kenny, bro ryan and gin.. it really was nerve wrecking!! when it was my turn.. i forced a smile on my face to cover up the anxiety within me.. i was practically shaking like nobody's business!! never felt so nervous in my entire life.. it was afterall my 1st solo audition.. anyway, they took a picture of me (yes, with a fake n retarded smile) then.. the music started playing.. and i tried to groove.. to loosen myself up.. and 5, 6, 7 ,8! stared my routine.. all went well at 1st.. i even felt quite confident abt it.. but BAM! i lost focus and forgot the rest of my steps for the ending.. argh~ it was the most horrible feeling.. i stopped dancing.. then, the judges briefed me abt the commitments of joining project O (if i were to be selected that is) and i said i was ready to commit.. there would be long hours of dance practices & physical trainings.. 9 months away from my own cellgroup.. it'll definitely be demanding.. but im willing to take on this challenge.. i really want to maximise my potential.. to be the best dancer that i can be.. it aint easy.. especially since there'll be long hours of school, assignment datelines to meet, more practices for TP's dance performance.. but i believe i can.. gonna stretch myself.. and i'm gonna dance for the King.. for His glory.. Amen. =)
after the girls, it was the guys turn to showcase their solo.. 1st, it was yongzhi.. ha! he totally raised the standard for the guys.. he's alrdy like a pro dancer.. and yet he went 1st.. muahas. but it was alright cuz all the other guys did their thang and strut their stuff.. total coolness.. when every1's done with their solo.. it was time to learn some choreo.. gin taught us hiphop.. her steps rock! loves it.. but we were onli given ahwile to catch the entire choreo.. and in groups of 4, we went in to show the judges wad we've learnt.. i was so stressed.. kept forgetting steps -.- aiii~ so after the hiphop routine.. ryan taught us street jazz.. i kinda like the 1st set of eights.. but when it came to floor work.. ha. i was in a total mess! legs got tangled.. turned in opposite direction from others.. ha. yes, i know.. horrendously ugly! but thank God, after the street jazz.. it was finally over.. felt totally dehydrated.. all of us slakced in the other studio.. and.. took some pictures!!

its definitely an awesome experience! and it was great that we got to know these talented people!

anyhoos, results will be out today!! i really pray that all of us can get in~ jia you dancers!! it'll be FUNtastic to spend the next 9months in a dance cellgroup with u guys~ heh. well, lets just pray for the best k! *excited*
