alrighty! its 24 July 2006! this marks an important day in my life! why? because exactly 2 years ago, it was the day that i gave my heart to Jesus.. since then, life has never been the same.. whee~ it's been sooo much better! i've met great people, done things that i never thought i could ever do and most importantly.. i experienced real love.. a love so true that God has for me.. =D no words could describe how grateful i am.. to be given the chance to live again.. to be a child of God.. to experience His unconditional love.. His unfailing grace.. His faithfulness.. His blessings.. =)

Sunday, Finals for Straits Times Dance Competition!
yay~ i'm so happy!! elated!! overjoyed!! ecstatic!! euphoric!! yes yes yes!! i'm on cloud 9!! teehee. Nu X's won 2nd Prize for the dance competition!! Praise The Lord!! one step closer to penetrating the marketplace for God! yeah!! once again, i'm really thankful to Him.. i've been praying for doors of opportunities ever since after this year's Emerge Talent Time.. for Ghetto Queens, Joyous Perfection & Motion Effects Crew to have more performances and to take part in more competitions.. indeed, God is good! He answered my prayers like almost immediately.. and its not like only one or two performances kae.. it's been so many and there are more to come!! there was the 2 weekend Heeren gigs.. Project O.. PSC.. Straits Times Dance Competition.. and we'll be performing on 29th Jul & 9th Aug for NDP too! how awesome is that?! My God is a God of abundance! yeah~ its like opportunities are coming in, one after another! i feel deeply loved, highly favoured and greatly blessed by God.. =) none of these opportunities would have been possible if it wasnt for Him.. I love my Abba Father~

o ya.. yongzhi injured his knee while dancing during the prelims.. he did that jump.. din land properly.. and got injured.. but i totally respect him man.. even though he was in so much pain.. he din give up.. he perservered and kept dancing til the end.. then, at that final pose.. he fell to the ground.. o man.. all of us were shocked.. his knee was so swollen.. *scarey* the guys helped yongzhi back to the backstage area.. all of us were kinda paniky.. then, we decided to pray for him.. all of us (Ghetto, JP & MEC) laid hands on his injured knee and began to pray for healing.. well, i'm sure that the devil's really scared now.. that all of us are stepping up.. doing great things for God.. emerging and shining for God in the marketplace.. ha. i guess it has caused the devil to have no other choice but to try to stop us through injuries.. but sadly.. we're not giving up! we won't be defeated so easily.. cuz if my God is for me, then who can be against me? so yea.. we're gonna keep on keeping on!! not letting anything or anyone bring us down! and i really gotta say.. i'm so encouraged by yongzhi.. to see him dance through the end even in pain.. that spirit of exellence.. that determination.. its awesome man!! he's truly one great dancer with a great attitude and a great love for God.. let us all keep him in our prayers.. that he'll heal quickly and be back on the dance floor.. shining ever so brightly for Jesus! =)
also, i tink that nikz been great.. cuz since yongzhi was injured on sat.. he wont be able to dance for the finals on sunday.. therefore, JP needed a replacement.. so they called nikz.. and within such a short time n notice.. he rushed down to SMU in the evening and managed to learn da steps within a few hours on that nite itself.. despite the fact that he's swamped with lotsa work from school and revisions for exams.. he still squeezed some time out to help his crew.. i really think that its so nice la.. yepx! with such a strong bond and love between all of us.. we'll definitely give the devil a hard time.. ha! i'm really so happy la!! to see 3 different grp of dancers.. of different ages, schools and backgrounds.. come together as one.. encouraging and sticking through for one another is simply fantastic~ :))

btw, these above pics were taken on sat's prelims.. then on sunday, went for service in the morning.. yeps! its our 1st service as Project O! coolness~ really enjoyed the service so much! from praise and worship.. all the way to the preaching of the word.. and its really special cuz for the next 5 weeks.. Pastor Kong will be talking abt marriage.. its a bible study course on "Making Marriage Work". it was really good!! Pastor even shared with the church of how he and sun got together back then.. lolx. its really amazing man.. hee. and at the end of service.. Pastor asked couples to give one another hugs n kisses.. to show their love for one another.. heh. it was o so sweet! Bro. Kenny and his wife were so loving can.. hee. and Bro. Ryan was so funny la.. cuz sis. Andrea was on stage as back-up vocalist.. then he gave that super dramatic sad expression.. ha. anyways, after service.. i went over to where my previous cg was sitting.. hee. took pictures again! yayness~ how i miss them so..

mmm.. after that, rushed down to suntec with aman.. met up with brian n khairie 1st.. went over to convention centre for practice b4 the finals.. then not long after.. chris arrived.. we went thru all of ur steps n formation over n over again.. cleaned up some steps as well.. kept things tight n synchronised.. then at 3.45pm.. we went into the convention hall.. got ready.. did warm ups and stand-by for performance.. yay! i really enjoyed myself out there.. it was sooo much better than saturday's prelims.. ha. did quite a few mistakes on sat.. and din really full-out =\ was super nervous.. but thank God that on sunday.. everything went smoothly.. though there were still some hiccups here n there.. but they were minor ones.. so yea! really happy!! wheeee~ JP rocked the floor too!! xian n theresa are just so cool la! love their big actions.. love the accents!! we were all cheering like mad for them.. hehe. yeps. Nikz pulled it off man.. with only a few hours of practices.. he managed to nail the dance.. yeah!! nikzedelic!! o.. but my favourite dance crew is still LUSH! wah~ they're always so full of energy la!! and they dun seem tired at all.. ha. unlike nu x's.. lolx. we were like dead halfway thru the song =p but we still gave it our all k! hurhur. anyhoos, back to LUSH.. heh. i love their steps! i love their energy! they're like some powerhouse la!! and there was this guy.. he's so cute.. he's got millions of expressions when he dances! ha. while dancing halfway, amanda called his name to cheer him on.. he could still turn his head arnd to face her and stick his tongue out.. and he did that for like 5-10 secs.. while dancing!! ha. coolness.

mmm.. after every team has performed.. it was time for the results.. there were 17 crews on sat.. but only 10 made it to the finals.. and yep! 4th place goes to Revoltage! 3rd place goes to LUSH! 2nd place goes to Nu X's!! yeah yeah!! and finally.. the champs were Stylez From Beyond!

after the competition.. most of us headed down to east coast for kenneth's bday BBQ.. ha! it was fun!! so much nonsense happened.. lolx. that crazy pamela.. kept pullin my hair.. and she even pinned me down to the grnd la! lolx. and it was on sand loh.. how great was that.. heh. and she kept going arnd smacking people's head.. pam's common victims were me, ger, yongzhi, khye and aaron.. o man.. poor us.. and speaking of yongzhi! lolx. really pity him sia.. always kenna bully by pam.. wads more.. he's injured now.. lolx. but wad happened was really funny.. we were all sitting down toking.. then pam suddenly came.. took a bottle of green tea to drink.. then duno wad happened.. she suddenly spit the drink out! ha. sadly, its yongzhi who was sitting rite in front of her.. so, green tea was all over his face!! wahahahahaha~ he screamed! then after 2 seconds.. he started laughing at himself.. o man! so funny can!! bth sia.. ha! but ger's super zai.. lolx.. when pam hits her.. she hits back.. lolx! both of them dun gif face 1 sia.. juz whack only.. muahas. no wonder they can click so well.. both same flow 1.. hehe.
